AI hardware startup Natura unveiled the Interface smart ring on October 8, 2026. The $99 ring is designed for voice commands to personal AI agents: the user presses a button on the ring, speaks the command, and on release the request is sent to the chosen AI agent. The device lets people work with agents through a simple finger gesture, without reaching for a phone. The launch also covered pricing, the subscription model, health features, and the delivery schedule, as reported by TechCrunch and GamesBeat. The device works as both an AI interface and a health tracker.

How the Ring Works

Interface runs through the NatureOS platform — all connections go through this software system. At launch, the ring connects to five popular agents and apps: Muse from Meta, Instinct, Grokbot, Claude, and ChatGPT.

The interaction follows three steps. First, the user presses the button on the ring, and voice recording starts immediately. Second, the user speaks the command — asks a question or gives a task. Third, the button is released: this signals the end of the recording, and the request is automatically routed to the chosen agent. The entire interaction is built around that single button, described as the main control element of the ring. Details of how voice commands are processed were not disclosed in the launch materials.

Users are not limited to the ready-made list. A second option is connecting your own agent: Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, and Muse were named as examples. A third option is the NatureOS store, which hosts more than 140 agents to choose from.

All three paths are combined in one device — one ring can send voice commands to different agents. As TechCrunch writes, the device is specifically built to route voice requests to personal AI agents.

Pricing and Subscription

Interface is priced at $99 to start — but this is not a fixed price: the company has openly said it plans to raise it. The $99 covers the device alone; after the free period ends, a $9 monthly subscription is added on top. When the price increase will happen has not been announced. Pre-orders are expected to open next month, in November — about a month after the launch.

Delivery timelines differ slightly between sources. TechCrunch reports delivery is scheduled for December or January; GamesBeat names January 2027 as the exact date.

The device price is only part of the story. After an initial free period of three to six months, Natura plans to introduce a $9 monthly subscription. Full long-term use of the ring requires monthly payments; the subscription is charged separately from the device price.

Health Tracking and Battery

Interface is not only a voice-command relay: it doubles as a full health tracker. The ring tracks seven metrics: heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep stages, physical activity, step count, and skin temperature.

Three of them relate to the cardiovascular system: the current heart rate, the resting reading, and its variability. The rest cover sleep quality, daily movement, and body temperature. All measurements are taken while the ring is worn on the finger.

Battery figures were announced as well. A single charge lasts from 6 to 12 days — that is the officially announced range. A full charge takes 100 minutes. Six to 12 days is the officially stated interval; 100 minutes is the time a full charge takes.

About the Company

The founder of Natura is Carlo Edoardo Ferraris. He previously founded Rolling Square, a tech accessories company — his prior experience is in consumer electronics accessories. Interface is not the first step from the company into AI hardware: Natura previously released HumanPods, AI-enabled earbuds. HumanPods were also earbuds with AI features — Interface is presented as the continuation of that line.

So Natura is now shipping its second AI device in a row: first earbuds, now a ring. The new device is the next product from the company in voice AI interfaces.
